Ways to Build Functional Mass with Kettlebells
Functional mass is muscle mass that doesn’t diminish movement. Training for functional mass includes protocols that build superior big muscles while also making the body more useful at real-world tasks and less susceptible to back shoulder, and knee injuries. If the goal is functional mass, arguably the simplest training modality would be Olympic lifting with a mixture of callisthenics.
